RE-
This year, our theme is “RE-“, as in revitalizing, reorienting, reimagining, and more. In a nation that is complicit in genocide and where Asian Americans in the South are mostly isolated into their localized, homogenous groups, “RE-” stands for reconnecting with ourselves, our allies, our kin. Asian America was first created out of fierce political activism and racial ally-ship, and TAASCON will tap into our history and the community’s passions to envision how our past, present, and future may inform one another.
